Boost Your Game Performance

We understand that smooth gameplay is crucial for an enjoyable gaming experience. To help you get the most out of your game, we’ve put together this comprehensive guide that details five ways to improve your game performance. Follow these easy-to-understand, step-by-step instructions to optimize your game experience.

Removing Ad Blockers and Creating a New Chrome Profile

Ad blockers can sometimes interfere with game data, causing significant lag and performance issues. To avoid this, we recommend removing ad blockers and creating a dedicated Chrome profile specifically for playing the game. This ensures an optimal gaming experience without any unnecessary interruptions. Follow these steps to remove ad blockers and create a new Chrome profile:

  • To remove ad blockers, click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of Chrome.
  • Go to ‘More tools’ > ‘Extensions.’
  • Locate your ad blocker extension and click the toggle switch to disable it.
  • Alternatively, you can click ‘Remove’ to uninstall the ad blocker completely.
  • To create a new Chrome profile, click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of Chrome.
  • Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘You and Google’ > ‘Chrome name and picture.’
  • Click ‘Add’ to create a new browser profile.
  • Open the game in your new browser profile to ensure a smooth, ad-free gaming experience.

By removing ad blockers and creating a dedicated Chrome profile for the game, you can enjoy a more stable and lag-free gaming experience. Remember to always disable ad blockers and use a separate Chrome profile when playing to ensure the best possible performance.

Low Detail Mode

If you’re playing a PvP game, pressing ‘L’ on your keyboard will enter Low Detail Mode. This mode removes shaders and grass swaying, which can significantly improve performance, especially during intense gameplay.

To enable Low Detail Mode:

  • Press ‘L’ while in a PvP game.
  • Observe the visual changes as shaders and grass swaying are removed.
Press L in-game to enter low quality mode

Smaller Window and Resolution

Reducing the window size or changing the game resolution can greatly improve performance. For example, rendering a game at 5K resolution on a 5K screen will require more resources than rendering at a lower resolution. To adjust window size and resolution:

  • Click and drag the edge of the game window to resize it.
  • To adjust the game resolution, open the settings panel in the game.
  • Select a lower resolution from the available options.
  • Apply the changes and observe the improved performance.
Reduce the size of your browser window

Ping and Server Connection

The game is in constant connection with our servers, which are currently based in the US. Players may experience higher ping (latency) times, especially in PvP, due to their geographic location. For example, players in Europe might have slower ping times because their connection has to travel further to reach our US servers. We are actively working to rectify this by introducing regional PvP matches, which will result in lower latency for players around the world. In the meantime, please be aware of the following:

  • Your location may affect your ping time.
  • Higher ping times can be more noticeable in PvP games.
  • Stay tuned for regional PvP matches, which will provide a more optimized gaming experience.

Browser Compatibility

Our game is thoroughly tested in Google Chrome, and we highly recommend using Chrome for the best gaming experience. Other browsers may not offer the same level of compatibility and performance. To use Google Chrome:

  • Download and install Google Chrome from the official website.
  • Open the game in a new Chrome browser window.
  • Make sure you have Hardware Acceleration turned on.

Managing Plugins

Browser plugins can have a significant impact on game performance. We suggest adding the game to a new browser profile with no plugins enabled.

For the best results, you can add the game to your computer or navigation bar using the ‘Add to Shortcut’ feature in Chrome. To do this:

  • Open Chrome and click on the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
  • Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘You and Google’ > ‘Chrome name and picture.’
  • Click ‘Add’ to create a new browser profile.
  • Open the game in your new browser profile to ensure no plugins are enabled.
  • To add the game to your computer or navigation bar as a shortcut:
  • Navigate to the game’s website in your new Chrome browser profile.
  • Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of Chrome.
  • Select ‘More tools’ > ‘Create shortcut.’
  • Choose a name for the shortcut and click ‘Create.’
Create a shortcut to the game

By following these straightforward steps, you can drastically improve your game’s performance, resulting in a smoother, more enjoyable experience. Remember to use Low Detail Mode during PvP, adjust your window size and resolution, be aware of ping times, utilize Google Chrome, and manage plugins effectively. As we continue to optimize our game and introduce regional PvP matches, you can look forward to an even better gaming experience in the future.
